About the Martins
Today, the farm is operated by Grant, Pam, Todd, Neil, Adam and Graham Martin. Pam (Deugo) was raised in Cedar Hill as the youngest child of George and Shirley Deugo of Fulton’s Sugarbush & Maple Shop. Pam and Grant met at the University of Guelph and married in 1999.
The Martins were organic dairy farmers in midwestern Ontario until 2016 when they purchased Cedar Hill Christmas Tree Farm.

About the Christmas Tree Farm
Our farm was settled in the 1820s by William Forsythe, who came to Cedar Hill from Ireland. The farm was originally a lumbering and saw mill operation. It has in turn been a dairy, beef, and sheep farm.
The fruit crops were started in 1978 by Paul and Heather (Forsythe) Ralph and the Christmas trees were added in 1988. In August 2011, Paul and Ria Ralph retired from other aspects of the business and focused on growing beautiful Christmas trees.
Ria and Paul built a new shop for the Christmas tree operation in 2011. They have now retired and settled into life in Almonte.

A wonderful family Christmas tradition in Pakenham for three decades, Cedar Hill Christmas Tree Farm expanded into the fall season in 2020. We’re continuing that tradition today.

What Our Customers Say
We’ve been going here for many years. Always excited to cut down our Christmas tree at Cedar Hill. It’s very picturesque with the wagon ride to the field. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Make this your Christmas tree tradition. Larry Taylor (Google local guide)
This place is amazing! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of trees, nice gift shop, and warm beverages/treats. Great photo op spots set up around the farm. We love that we can bring our dog with us, and we love seeing all the other pups too. Lauren Westerlake (Google)
Fantastic Experience for all ages! My grandchildren loved the straw bale maze, the zip line, the wagon ride and of course Santa. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent selection of trees, well priced. Maggie Herbert (Google)
A stunning quintessentially North American setting especially during autumn and Christmas – worth visiting just for that. Beautiful, quite famous covered bridge that gets used in a few movies is very much worth checking out. Rob Childs (Google local guide)
This is an amazing place for families to visit! The amount of outdoor activities for children ranges from a zipline, a hay maze castle, play structures and amazing colors and views. This is also a fantastic place to take family pictures. We love going there in the fall and pre-Christmas months to buy different holiday decorations. Josh Hartwig (Google local guide)
Amazing experience. What cutting a tree for Christmas should be like. If you have not gone. Please go. Worth the drive. Try to arrive as the sun is going down. The lights are great. Nick M (Google local guide)
